Do you build custom software?
Usually not, and usually you do not need it. I prefer connecting and simplifying the tools you already have. When something genuinely needs to be built, I will say so plainly and scope it as part of the monthly work.
Can you work with the tools we already use?
Yes. Most engagements keep the existing stack and fix how it fits together. Replacing everything is a last resort, not a starting point.
We have no IT person. Is that a problem?
No, that is common. I set things up so the owner and staff can keep them running without a technical background, and I document what I changed.
